Customer Reviews: Western Affliction (Book 3)

Book 3 in a four part series. Finally Part3 is here! More great development heading into the final book. I really love where this is heading and the characters are great.

Another great story! The book reveals more characters and through them we learn a little bit more about Tabitha, her powers, and her foes. New concepts are introduced and the author continues to explain with great analogies and makes fun connections so that we do not lose our footing while trying to follow along.

A quick read that will leave you wanting the next book in the series! This is the third book and the best yet. The story has a little bit of everything: romance, action, fantasy. Get lost in a world you didn’t know existed as the characters unfold before you.

South of Redemption, the second book of the series, exceeds the first novel in every single capacity. It features dynamic characters and interactions, provides unique perspective by engaging with the world from the vantage of a magic capable community, and is a proper introduction to a fascinating underground world ripe with life. It is a quick enjoyable read and genuinely difficult to set down. I can’t wait for more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I did not want to put it down. It was well written, with enough descriptive content to pull a reader into the story and not too much that it becomes boring and a chore to read. I am very excited for the third installment of this series.

One of the hardest things for me, personally, is to be able to fully pay attention to a book while reading it in a timely matter. True North was INCREDIBLY hard for me to put down – I finished it in one sitting! You truly feel connected to the main character, and theres plenty of action and twists to keep the reader on their toes. I am absolutely ecstatic for more to come out from this author. She is very involved and cares deeply about her readers — highly, highly, highly recommend this book!

I just finished reading this and really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting cultural references that are well researched.
Reminded me a bit of “American Gods” by Gaiman crossed with Percy Jackson author Rick Riordan.
Very much looking forward to the next installment!

Loved this book. Very excited for more. It gives the right amount of detail and lets you create the world Tab lives in. It’s a fast read. I also follow the author on her Facebook page and try to win an element key! She has trivia. It’s great.
